Last Updated: October 22nd, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Argus Group, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Prohibited Content and Activities

You agree to use our services, including VPS hosting and Argus CDN (general file hosting), only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from hosting, storing, or transmitting any material that is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material without authorization, malware, or content that violates the rights of others.

3. VPS Monitoring and Access

To maintain the security and integrity of our infrastructure, Argus Group reserves the right to monitor and inspect any VPS instance. While we respect user privacy, we may access your VPS if we have reasonable grounds to believe there is a breach of these Terms, illegal activity, or a threat to our network.

4. Ban Evasion and Moderation

Creating or utilizing alternative accounts to evade any moderation actions, restrictions, or bans imposed by Argus Group is strictly prohibited. Attempting to bypass a penalty will result in the immediate termination of all associated services and permanent exclusion from our platform.

5. Unauthorized Security Testing

You are strictly prohibited from conducting, attempting, or facilitating any unauthorized security testing, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, port scanning, denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, exploit probing, fuzzing, or stress tests against Argus Group infrastructure, services, APIs, client networks, or server instances without prior explicit written authorization from Argus Group.

Unauthorized security testing is treated as a severe, hostile security incident and a direct breach of these Terms. If you engage in any unauthorized security testing or malicious attacks:

  • Immediate Account & Service Ban: All of your accounts, active services, VPS instances, API keys, hosted files, and data will be immediately and permanently terminated and banned without notice, warning, or refund eligibility.
  • IP & Network Blacklisting: All associated IP addresses, subnets, and identifiable endpoints will be permanently blacklisted across our entire network and firewall infrastructure.
  • Reporting to Law Enforcement & Providers: Argus Group will formally report your activity, along with all associated telemetry, access logs, forensic records, and identity information, to relevant law enforcement agencies, cybercrime investigation authorities, and upstream hosting/internet service providers (ISPs).
  • Legal Prosecution: Argus Group reserves the right to pursue full civil litigation and criminal complaints for financial damages, downtime, remediation expenses, and unauthorized computer access under applicable cybercrime legislation.

6. Age Restrictions and Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create or hold an Argus Group account. By creating an account or using our services, you warrant that you are 13 years of age or older. If we discover or have reason to believe that a user is under the age of 13, we reserve the right to terminate their account and all associated services immediately without prior notice.

7. Argus CDN Acceptable Use

The Argus Content Delivery Network (CDN) is provided for general file hosting and serving web assets. You are strictly prohibited from using the CDN to host, distribute, or cache illegal content, malware, phishing sites, or copyright-infringing material. Argus Group reserves the right to suspend or terminate CDN access for any project found violating these rules or engaging in excessive bandwidth abuse.

8. Cognition API Fair Use

Access to the Cognition API is subject to rate limiting and fair use policies. You agree not to use the Cognition API to generate illegal, hateful, or abusive content, or to bypass safety filters. Argus Group reserves the right to restrict or revoke API access without notice if we detect misuse or automated abuse of the service.

9. Argus Latch and Kyon Moderation

Argus Latch (our captcha service) and Kyon (our Discord moderation bot) are provided to secure communities and applications. Using Argus Latch on websites that promote illegal activities or malware is strictly forbidden. Furthermore, attempting to abuse or exploit the Kyon bot's functionality to disrupt Discord servers will result in an immediate and permanent ban from all Argus Group services.

10. Cooperation with Law Enforcement and Legal Compliance

Argus Group complies with applicable local, national, and international laws. We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies, judicial authorities, and regulatory bodies when legally required or compelled to do so by valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, search warrant, or binding statutory directive.

In addition, Argus Group reserves the right to preserve and disclose user account details, communication records, IP address logs, server telemetry, and hosted content to law enforcement or government authorities without prior notice to the user if we determine in good faith that such action is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal proceedings, or enforceable governmental requests;
  • Enforce these Terms of Service, including investigating potential breaches or malicious activities;
  • Detect, prevent, or address fraud, cyberattacks, network security incidents, or technical vulnerabilities;
  • Protect the rights, property, network integrity, and physical safety of Argus Group, our users, personnel, or the public;
  • Respond to emergencies involving imminent threat of death, serious physical harm, or illegal exploitation.

Argus Group also reserves the right to proactively refer any suspected criminal conduct, cyberattacks, or network intrusions to law enforcement agencies and judicial authorities for criminal investigation.
